The Wim Hof Method

The Wim Hof method consists of 3 pillars; breathing, cold exposure and commitment. The method has so many benefits, including reducing inflammation, increasing energy, reducing stress levels, boosting the immune system, improved sleep and more. Often known as the ‘iceman’, Wim Hof himself has been studied for his incredible ability to control his immune system and to withstand freezing temperatures. Tribal Hearts Organiser, Vanessa, is passionate about this method and practises often and we are so excited to be able to share this with you thanks to ‘Zenful Men’, who will be attending the festival for the first time.

Zenful Men is a Premium streetwear brand breaking the stigmas attaches to men’s mental health. They promote different health and mindfulness tips such as Wim Hof breathwork, cold water therapy, yoga meditation, Muay Thai and many many more. Set up by a young lad Sam Neath as a by – product of his struggles, Sam turns his anxiety into a positive with a brand he hopes can get more and more young lads into building positive life habits.

Zenful Men will be hosting 2 cold water therapy and breathwork workshops at Tribal Hearts for anyone that is interested in giving it a go! This is one of the main techniques that influenced the brand and one that personally changes Sam’s life. The first will introduce you to the method and practise some breathwork, and then for those who want to dive right in there will be the opportunity to try an ice bath later on!
